Kelli graduated from Broome Community
College with an A.A.S. Degree in Communications and Media Arts.
While at BCC, Kelli served as a Peer Tutor, teaching organizational,
time management and study skills; additionally, Kelli worked as a
student Writing Assistant and provided ideas for improvements.
Kelli also completed an independent study involving Media Law and
assisted a Professor in building a website for teachers and parents
which primarily focused on the types of learning disabilities and
connecting techniques for study methods. For her outstanding work,
Kelli was awarded a scholarship from C.A.S.T., (Communications
Association of the Southern Tier).
Kelli's employment with Fairview began in November 2006 as Case
Manager for the HUD (residential) component of the CCU Program and
subsequently branched out into the OASAS component of CCU; assisting
community clients with the skills and connections necessary to gain
employment or to further their education, in collaboration with ACBC
and New Horizons Outpatient Program. |
