Sarah received
her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Keuka College before going
to Syracuse University where she earned her Master of Social Work
Degree and a Certification of Advanced Standing in Women’s Studies.
In the Fall of 2006, Sarah received her New York State Licensed
Master of Social Work credential.
Sarah began working
for Fairview Recovery Services in October of 2006. Prior to her
employment at Fairview, Sarah facilitated the Outreach and Retention
Program at the YWCA for just over two years. She assisted homeless
women in gaining the skills needed to maintain independent living.
Before moving to the Binghamton area, Sarah provided in-home
services to individuals with developmental disabilities and
traumatic brain injuries to aid them in living effectively in the
community without the need of a group home setting. Sarah’s
experience with chemical dependency treatment involves working at
Outpatient drug and alcohol treatment at FLACRA and residential
supportive counseling at the YWCA of Binghamton. |
